Support the members in your region and across the country, and help shape Equity's future. It's important for all of us!

    The deadline for submitting a nomination is 8:00 pm ET on October 10.


    We encourage all members – particularly those from underrepresented groups in our membership – to declare their candidacy or nominate a member from your community. Diverse voices, representing diverse perspectives are crucial for a strong leadership.

    Only Life, Regular or Regular-Extended Visa members in good standing, of at least 18 years of age, are eligible to run for Council.

  • HAVEN Online Now Available

  • World Theatre Day March 27, 2024 - Equity is pleased to announce the launch of HAVEN Online, a resource hub and online reporting platform for incidents of inappropriate behaviour in the workplace. Artists working on an Equity contract can use the HAVEN Online form to share information confidentially or anonymously with the Association, and request follow-up assistance from an Equity Respectful Workplace Advisor, if needed.

  • Equity Council Invites Member Input on Ongoing RCAs

  • Equity is pleased to announce the addition of a tracking sheet for ongoing Request for Council Actions (RCA) on the website.

    RCAs are a fundamental way for every member to participate in the governance of their Association. Ideas for new initiatives, suggestions for policy change, and issues for discussion are shared by members-at-large with Equity’s elected leadership via an RCA.

    By being able to view ongoing RCAs and their status, members-at-large can provide input on an RCA that interests them by contacting their regional Councillor.
