Ratification of the Canadian Opera Agreement
The 2025-2028 Canadian Opera Agreement (COA) is now up for ratification by the eligible membership. Voting for the newly negotiated Agreement will take place online only.

How to Vote
Regular, Regular - Extended Visa, non-resident Opera (Legacy), and Life members in good standing and who were engaged under the 2022-2025 COA are eligible to vote.
Voting instructions and unique voting links will be sent by email and/or SMS to eligible Equity members in good standing on April 14th by our online voting platform, ElectionBuddy. Please check your spam folder if you cannot find your electronic ballot.
If you believe you are eligible to vote on the ratification of the 2025-2028 COA and have not received a ballot via email, please contact the National Office or email communications@caea.com for assistance.
Voting is open from April 14, 10:00 a.m. (ET) to April 29, 12:00 p.m. (ET).
