Equity Invites You to a Panel Discussion on Access, Equity, and Change in Canada's Theatre Sector
Vocal workshop On behalf of Artists’ Legal Advice Services (ALAS), Equity is thrilled to invite you to Common Space: toward a more accessible, equitable, and imaginative theatre sector, a conversation with performing artists Angela Sun, Chris Dodd, Gaitrie Persaud-Killings, Riki Entz, and lawyer Lorin MacDonald around accessibility, equity, and change in Canada’s theatre sector.

This event is free to attend and will focus on access, equity, and change in Canada’s theatre sector.

Here are some of the things the panel will talk about:
  • Imagining a more inclusive and collaborative creative process
  • Creating and enabling safe and accessible spaces for artists and audiences
  • The legal rights of artists and arts workers relating to accessibility justice
  • Advocacy work needed to change how Deaf, Mad, and disability arts are viewed and represented.
