    International Day of Persons with Disabilities
    RWP Each year we commemorate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) on December 3rd. The theme for this year’s IDPD is innovation and transformative solutions for inclusive development.

    IDPD, initially recognized by the United Nations General Assembly in 1992, aims to promote an understanding of disability issues and mobilize support for the dignity, rights and well-being of persons with disabilities.

    Celebrate IDPD this year by checking out the resources made available by Tangled Art + Disability, an organization dedicated to supporting Disabled, d/Deaf, chronically ill, neurodiverse, k/crip, Mad, sick & spoonie artists; to cultivate Disability Arts in Canada; and to increase opportunities for everyone to participate in the arts.
