    Notice Regarding Compass Artist Management
    Equity is aware of the recent reports regarding Compass Artist Management’s failure to pay their clients. So far, we’ve had no complaints from members regarding this matter for work under Equity’s jurisdiction, but in the event that there are outstanding fees owed by Compass on Equity contracts, please let us know.

    Although Equity has no legal standing or jurisdiction in disputes between performers and their agents, we are reaching out nonetheless to suggest a recourse if you have been affected by this matter.

    Presently, ACTRA Toronto is allowing all artists (even non-ACTRA members) to submit a complaint regarding Compass through their Talent Agent Complaint Form. If you are not an ACTRA member, simply put “Equity member” in the ID field.
