Canadian Actors’ Equity Association is pleased to announce its 2021-2024 Equity Council. The newly formed leadership will take office at their first meeting on January 24 and 25, serving a 3-year term. Election of the available officer positions will take place at the same meeting.

Equity would like to thank all the candidates who ran and the members who voted and completed the Council Focus Survey. The Association would also like to thank the outgoing Council members who have generously contributed their expertise, enthusiasm, and time over the past term, particularly throughout these very difficult last two years.

Elections were held in regions with a sufficient number of candidates to warrant one while nominated candidates in the other regions were acclaimed. With an overall 36.9% voter return rate, the 2021-2024 Council election results (including voter turnout by region) are listed below. Complete election results are available here.
