Ratification of 2022 ESCA Extension underway
Having concluded a limited set of negotiations with Second City on an extension to the 2019-21 “Equity Second City Agreement,” the Association has begun the ratification process for approval of the 2022 terms.

Equity Regular, Regular - Extended Visa, and Life members in good standing and who were engaged under the 2019-2021 ESCA are eligible to vote online and by telephone on the proposed changes starting today, November 23, 2021. The ratification vote will conclude on December 6, 2021, and results will be announced by Equiflash and on Equity's website on December 7, 2021. Pending a successful ratification, the amended terms of the ESCA Extension will take effect as of January 3, 2022.

A revised fee sheet for the ESCA has been made available to eligible voters with their ratification ballot email. If you believe you are an eligible voter and have not received a ballot, please contact Equity's National Office by email (communications@caea.com) or phone (1-800-387-1856 or 416-867-9165 in Toronto) for assistance as soon as possible.
