Equity Announces Senior Staffing Changes
Equity is pleased to announce changes to Equity's senior staff team. With the departure of Steven Sparling for a new position overseas, Equity conducted a review of the Association's needs while reconfiguring and reimagining the Associate Executive Director role as Projects Director.

The new position of Projects Director will be filled by Lynn McQueen. Lynn brings years of experience at Equity, and a significant knowledge of the infrastructure of the Association to this key position. Reporting to the Executive Director she will be responsible for initiating, implementing and / or managing various projects, strategic initiatives and policies that enhance the Association’s services for members, as well as providing support for various Council initiatives and Committees as required. The Projects Director will also participate in lobbying and advocacy activities and representing Equity on various industry committees.

Randy Duniz Replacing Lynn as Communications Director is Randy Duniz. Before joining Equity, Randy spent 21 years as the Public Relations Officer for the Montreal branch of ACTRA, responsible for strategic communications and the enhancement of member services through the creation of numerous initiatives, such as professional development, outreach, promotional events, and industry partnerships. He is a graduate of Concordia University with bachelor’s degrees in Communications and English Literature, and a produced screenwriter. Reporting to the Executive Director, he will be responsible for effective and purposeful communications with Equity’s members, Council, staff, other organizations and the media. Randy’s extensive experience in working with elected officials and member Committees will be an asset to the Association.

"While we are all very sorry that Steven will be leaving us, I am delighted to announce these staffing decisions," said Executive Director Arden R. Ryshpan. "I have known both Lynn and Randy for a long time and their commitment to members is unquestionable. I am confident that their skill sets will complement each other, bringing a new kind of synergy to the senior staff. Join me in wishing Lynn well in her new role and in welcoming Randy to Equity. And of course, please join me in wishing Steven all the best in his new role and to say thank you for his time with us."
