As Ontario emerges from emergency provincially ordered closures of non-essential businesses, printing of the 2021-2024 Canadian Theatre Agreement (CTA) is now moving ahead.

Before proceeding with a print run, several updates to the Material Terms were agreed to by Equity and the Professional Association of Canadian Theatres (PACT). Most of the changes were housekeeping in nature but the document was been re-paginated. If you have already downloaded the CTA Material Terms from www.caea.com, please re-download an updated copy today. We strongly suggest you also download an updated Fee Booklet at the same time.

Printing of the CTA Material Terms and the CTA Minimum Fee Booklet is estimated to be completed within the next two weeks. The COVID-19 Addendum to the CTA is online only.

Hard copies of the 2021-2024 CTA Material Terms and Minimum Fee Booklet will be mailed to Equity stage managers in good standing upon request. Stage managers were invited via email to register to receive a printed CTA by email.

Other Equity members may place a request to receive hard copies by email to agreements@caea.com; include your name, member number and any contact information updates.

Please note, access to Equity's National Office to complete any mailings may be delayed until such time as our staff can safely enter again.
