Audition Information & Submission Instructions
Audition Requirements: Those selected to audition will be asked to prepare material provided. The sides will be sent to those auditioning at least 5 days before the audition date. Please indicate which role(s) you wish to be considered for. Audition Location Details to be sent with the audition invitation. How to apply: Please submit via our submission portal at https://neptunetheatre.submit.com/show/2 by end of day October 4. Please upload your headshot and resume and clearly label them with your name, eg Joe_Smith. Only those selected for an audition will be contacted. If you already have a profile, do NOT create a new one. Select the show and characters you wish to be considered for.
Casting Breakdown
All children wishing to audition should be able to play in the range of 8-10 years old. The children cast as Little Cosette and Young Eponine will alternate playing the 2 roles. Little Cosette Little Cosette is Fantine’s daughter and the Thénardiers’ ward. She has been forced into child labor. She is underfed, beaten by Madame Thénardier, and bullied by Eponine. Vocal range top: C5 Vocal range bottom: A3 Young Eponine Young Eponine is the pampered daughter of the Thénardiers. She does little except taunt Young Cosette. Young Eponine does not sing; however the actors playing Young Eponine & Little Cosette will be sharing the roles, so note Cosette’s singing requirements. Gavroche Gavroche is Thénardier’s son. He is left to fend for himself and lives by his wits in the streets of Paris. Gavroche is brave, witty, and arrogant, with a fantastic, unchanged voice. Vocal range top: G5 Vocal range bottom: B3
