    Have You Registered for Equity's National AGM?
    gov canada Equity members in good standing are invited to attend the Association's 2021 online National Annual General Meeting (NAGM) on October 18, 2021.

    Registration is now open. Members must log in to Equity’s website in order to register. Only Equity members in good standing may attend the meeting.
    Date: Monday, October 18, 2021
    Time: 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (ET) / 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (PT), Afterparty to follow
    Venue: Online via Zoom Video Conferencing
    ASL interpretation will be provided

    Please note: members requiring ASL interpretation for the Afterparty must advise Equity by contacting communications@caea.com by October 4 (note extended deadline).
    Why Attend? For the last 18 months our world has been shut down by the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that we're tentatively entering a new phase of re-opening questions about how to safely return back to work are top of mind. You may also have questions about the Association's finances, what Equity is doing to continue its advocacy and support of members, and the upcoming Council elections. This is a great opportunity to tune in, catch up, ask questions, and interact live with Councillors, Equity staff and colleagues.

    • Receipt of the audited financial statements and appointment of the auditor for the coming year

    * Please submit resolutions to Council President Scott Bellis via email by Friday, October 8, 2021.

    Informal Afterparty
    An informal Afterparty social event will be held in an open forum, hosted by Councillors and staff. Come chat with your colleagues, community, Equity staff, share news and catch up in a more relaxed environment. The Afterparty link will be sent to members upon registration for the NAGM.

    Can't Attend? A video recording of the meeting, and copies of the meeting reports, will be made available to all members on www.caea.comas soon as possible after the meeting takes place.
