    2021 COVID-19 Addendum to the Stratford Festival Addendum Ratified by Membership
    Proposed changes for the 2021 COVID-19 Addendum to the Stratford Festival Addendum to the Canadian Theatre Agreement (CTA) between Equity and the Stratford Festival were ratified by the eligible Equity membership. The vote concluded on Thursday, June 10, 2021.

    Members voted 90.6% in support of the proposed changes. A total of 441 voters were eligible to vote and 117 Equity members cast a ballot. The voting return rate was 26.5%.

    While the Stratford Addendum renewal dates run slightly later than the CTA, the same 1% increase as was negotiated for the CTA will apply. Further increases for upcoming seasons will be negotiated this fall when we re-open the Addendum for full negotiations. Please email agreements@caea.com regarding any issues you would like us to consider for full negotiations this fall. Fee increases come into effect as of ratification.
