Bystander Intervention
Bystander intervention training offers five distinct tactics ("the five D's) that artists can employ to help make our creative spaces safer.
  • This training will provide an opportunity for performers, stage managers, directors, choreographers, fight directors and intimacy directors to come together to discuss common problems in our industry, and how to employ the five D's to address them
  • We will offer opportunities (via breakout rooms) for folks to brainstorm scenarios and practice intervention
  • We will address barriers that artists face that may prevent intervention
  • All of this training is tailor-made by Equity member artists, for Equity member artists
