ONTARIO REGIONAL AGM INFORMATION
Date: Sunday, November 20, 2011
Time: 7:00 to 11:00 p.m.
Location: Theatre Direct Space, Wychwood Barns, 601 Christie Street, Toronto, ON
Theme: Getting Down To Business

The Ontario CPAG of Canadian Actors' Equity Association invites you to join us on November 20th, 2011 for our Regional Annual General Meeting. As you recall last year's theme on Indie issues was a well-attended success. This year we have three hot topics that will directly affect every member of Equity in Ontario. We recommend that you attend this event. The stakes have never been higher.

The first is the presentation of the results of the recent member survey regarding the insurance issue. The results of this survey and accompanying report will set the benchmark for future plans surrounding our coverage.

The second issue will be the presentation of the member survey results and accompanying report from the Independent Theatre Review Committee. As you probably know the Indie issue is another hot topic that is of major concern to the membership. This report details membership opinion and will be of great use to the Executive Director as she considers improving the existing indie agreements.

The final and issue is the upcoming dues referendum. Equity Councillors, President Allan Teichman and Executive director Arden R. Ryshpan will be on hand discuss the reasons for the proposed dues increase and members will have an opportunity to question and respond to this proposal.

The Ontario CPAG welcomes members from the stage management, dance and opera communities to this event. All of the topics here will have a major impact on all of the membership. It's that important. Don't miss it!

All Equity members in good standing are encouraged to attend. Please bring your membership card to show at the door. Apprentice, provisional and probationary members are also welcome.
