Rideau Awards (Ottawa)
The Rideau Awards celebrate achievement in English professional theatre in Ottawa.
The Awards will be presented on Sunday, April 18, 2010.
Betty Mitchell Awards (Calgary)
The annual Betty Mitchell Awards, named for a pioneer of Calgary's theatrical community, Dr. Betty Mitchell, celebrate and honour outstanding achievement in Calgary's professional theatre community.
Dora Awards (Toronto)
The Dora Mavor Moore Awards honour the creators of over 200 theatre, dance and opera productions annually.
The Awards will be presented on June 28th, 2010.
Elizabeth Sterling Haynes Awards (Edmonton)
The Elizabeth Sterling Haynes Awards celebrate excellence in the professional theatre in Edmonton. The "Sterlings" were created in 1987 to enhance the profile of live professional theatre and honour the accomplishments of Elizabeth Sterling Haynes training and inspiring student artists in Alberta.
The Awards will be presented on June 28th, 2010.
Jessie Awards (Vancouver)
The Jessie Awards celebrate and recognize outstanding achievement in professional theatre.
The Awards will be presented on June 21st, 2010.
Robert Merritt Awards (Nova Scotia)
The Merritt Awards, named for Dalhousie University Theatre educator Robert Merritt, take place annually at the end of March and coincide with World Theatre Day. The Awards celebrate achievement in areas of acting, directing, playwrighting, design, technical Theatre, and overall achievement in professional Nova Scotia theatre.
The Awards were presented on March 29th, 2010.
SATAwards (Saskatoon)
Inaugurated in 2008, the SATAwards recognize, celebrate and promote professional theatre artists and organizations of all sizes in Saskatoon and its surrounding area.
The Awards will be presented on September 27th, 2010.
MECCA Awards (Montreal)
Montreal English Critics Circle Awards Celebrating achievement in Montreal's English-language theatre. The MECCAs are organized by the Montreal critics themselves to demonstrate the importance of theatre in our communitywith a sincere desire to recognize the contributions of outstanding theatre artists, both on and off stage, who have distinguished themselves over the past season.
