An impressive group of Canadian talent who were part of the "Save the Jane Mallett" campaign.
The City had plans to name the main stage in the St. Lawrence Centre after a financier, and artists
rallied to make sure that the beloved Jane Mallett, who passed away in 1984, was honoured instead.
Part of the group's successful initiative was raising funds, and everything in the theatre - including
the toilets - had small plaques attached to identify the donors.
