We hope that members will find the pages here to be a useful resource on many aspects of working in live performance, and that newcomers and passers-by will be able to learn more about Equity, and the many benefits that accompany membership.

If you are wondering where to begin, allow me to make a few suggestions.

If you are simply looking for more information on the Association, the section About Equity includes a generous amount of detail on the work of Equity, its history and governance structure. Prospective members may wish to download a copy of

The Road to Equity, a booklet geared toward the information needs of individuals who are contemplating joining Equity.

Members will find the shelves of the Document Library lined with copies of all our scale agreements and policies, insurance information and claim forms, and other membership information. In addition, each Region has its own page detailing activities in the region, and stage management members will find a section devoted to resources pertaining especially to their work.

Finally, a Members Only section (password protected) allows members to directly update their personal profile with Equity, and set certain contact preferences. There is also a newly added ability to submit a concern to Council for review. Available to Equity members only, the Request for Council Consideration form is located in the Governance section of EQUITYONLINE.
