Message from the Executive Director
I've been here at Equity since the fall of 2007 which means I've now been through the annual cycle twice, had a wonderful time travelling the country meeting with members, and learned a lot. A whole lot. Tons, in fact, about the Association and its history and its membership. I came to Equity with ideas about things I wanted to do and an open mind about what the members were going to tell me they wanted me to do.

Well, I think it's fair to say some efforts have been more successful than others. Things always take longer and cost more than you originally think they will (just ask anyone who has undertaken even the simplest home renovation project if you aren't convinced) and sometimes you find yourself doing little but responding to emerging issues. Rest assured we are going to continue to both tackle the problems and look to enhance the positive things we do.

As part of this, I want to communicate with the membership more often and in a less formal way. I encourage you to check the front page of the website for changes and up-dates to Arden's Notebook.

And as always, I encourage you to call, email or write to me about anything (good or bad) that you think I should know about.
